How It Works
Kip McGrath is part of a global franchise which started in NSW in Australia in 1976 by Australian Teachers Kip and Dug McGrath. They developed unique computer and worksheet based programmes to fill the gaps in student’s learning, build confidence and improve their academic performance. This method is working in 20 countries in 500 centres globally. The resources and technology platforms continue to be updated and evolve to meet the needs of a modern curriculum. With over 200 centres in the UK, we are building on their foundations, and seeing students succeed in achieving their individual learning goals.
A Free Assessment
All new students are offered a Free assessment to ascertain their strengths and weaknesses, in order to ensure the individual programme they are to follow matches their needs. This also allows us to meet the student and parents and for them to see the centre; it takes the mystery out of a new experience.
Following the assessment, the parents and the student are provided with verbal feedback where the strengths and weaknesses are discussed and a recommendation of which subject/s should be studied at the centre on how many/ which days.
An Individual Programme
An individual programme will be put together based on the findings from the assessment. Your child will then begin their tuition sessions with one of our excellent trained Kip McGrath tutors. The programme will be adjusted to match the speed at which the student is able to make progress. Regular verbal feedback is given at the end of each lesson.
Lessons are 80 minutes and run across the week Monday-Saturday. Please contact us for current availability.
Following each lesson your child will be set Homework, this is usually to consolidate skills taught in the lesson, for older students it may be in preparation for the lesson. Ensuring homework is completed ensures that your child will make the gains they desire in their learning journey.
